From E3 we reported that the next Guild Wars game had some very early details emerge at the conference. Now, a trademark for Guild Wars: Nightfall has surfaced (you'll have to enter "Guild Wars: Nightfall" in the link, the search engine resets in new windows). Additionally, a Whois look-up showed that NCSoft registered the URL www.guildwarsnightfall.com -- is Nightfall the name of the next Guild Wars expansion? We described the next game (shown behind closed doors at E3) as having "a North African-themed world. The architecture and locations look inspired by Tunesia, Morocco, and the savannah, and the theme music composed for the presentation had a very Marakesh sound to it."

Noticia de Sitio Oficial... Dos millones... de momento En una nota de prensa publicada hoy, NCsoft y ArenaNet confirman que la serie Guild Wars ha vendido ya más de 2 millones de unidades. Además, la nota de prensa revela que Guild Wars fue líder de ventas de juegos para PC durante el mes de mayo de 2006 en Europa y Norteamérica. Esto según algunos Forums son las primeras imagenes de las dos nuevas profesiones... algo así como un tipo de guerrero de Lanzas y un tipo de Monje de lucha cuerpo a cuerpo...

Ya era hora..... me extrañaba que no habíamos aparecido... sobre todo porque hay MUCHAAAAAA gente jugando...

Lo principal es que GW tiene una FUERTE!!!!!, con "F" mayuscula, orietación a PvP... en eso difiere mucho de WoW... pero aún así hay MUCHO contenido para mantener entretenidos a los que buscan PvE...

No se ha enfriado Factions y ya hablan del tercer capítulo!! Sorry en inglés... Guild Wars Keeps Expanding Factions follow-up to take adventurers on safari. Minutes before the doors slammed at E3, the undefeated Last Pride PvP guild (and our 1UP ninjas) were treated to a first look at the next Guild Wars expansion. Not Factions, but the as-yet-untitled expansion to follow. We got an early peek at the new setting, creatures, and concept sketches of new professions. Where the original game had a pseudo-medieval European environment and Factions features a more Asian setting, the new expansion will take place in a North African-themed world. The architecture and locations look inspired by Tunesia, Morocco, and the savannah, and the theme music composed for the presentation had a very Marakesh sound to it. Among the new creatures and NPCs we saw dervish-like robed and masked desert people, a bunch of monkeys riding some kind of tusked hippo, and a giant flatworm. Yeah, we want to squash that. There were only two sketches of the new professions shown, one being a white robed woman wielding a wicked looking double bladed staff, and an unarmed bald monk-like man, possibly a bare-knuckle combat class. The expansion hasn't been officially announced yet, but expect something as soon as the Factions hype cools off a little. Yeah, NC is fast with these things. They have two gangs of developers tag teaming expansions. In fact, now that Factions is done that crew is already working on the fourth one. That makes them a freaking MMO machine gun. Me llama la atención del Monk si armas o se a puro puñete!!!

Julio creo que los requisitos están muy altos.. esto puede desalentar a algunos que apenas están empezando...además hay algunos que tal vez se quieran especializar en una profesión ... y eso los hace menos aptos para brindar ayuda???... creo que no... No creo que el perfil del Oficial sea un super gamer... sino un chavalo con buena actitud... Principalmente como requisito indispensable es la actitud de ayuda.. estar dispuesto a ayudar... más que a farmear.. o hacer PvP. Creo que los que deberían votar son Drak y los oficiales... A parte de esto, creo, y sin ser "Sobalevas", que tu te los has ganado con creces... muchas gracias amigo!!
