La Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences presentó sus premios en 36 categorías.

Call of Duty de Activision e Infinity Ward fue premiado como el Juego del Año. Electronic Arts obtuvo el mayor número de premios, con 11. El juego más premiado fue Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time de Ubisoft. Peter Molyneux, Director Administrativo de Lionhead Studios, fue introducido al Salón de la Fama.

La premiación fue realizada en el Rain in the Palms en el Palms Casino Resort en las Vegas.

En realidad yo creo que no lo premiaron porque es casi lo mismo que el RoC, es como si sacaran el proximo año Call of Duty con nuevos mapas y algún nuevo personaje, no dejaria de ser un exc juego, pero seria como dar el premio dos años seguidos al mismo juego.
