If your information is five minutes old, it can no longer be trusted. -It's all mind games. You can never take any action at face value; you never know when they're faking it just to screw with you. -It's usually a good idea to have a game plan, however, sometimes it's better to improvise. Don't be afraid to be creative. -Starcraft: you're really #####ed if you don't even know what race you're playing against. Dating: You're really #####ed if you're not even sure if she's a she. -Flanking can a good tactic if it looks like you're losing the advantage. -Basic mechanics are the foundation, but without good game sense and timing, you're going nowhere fast. -If your timing is off by even the slightest bit at a critical moment, it can cost you everything. -If you're getting frustrated, find someone better than you and go over replays to find out where you went wrong. Focus on one thing at a time; you're not going to become gosu overnight, so don't expect it. Get opinions from both sides of the matchup. A major difference between starcraft and dating is you can play offrace in starcraft. -If you're losing badly, at least amuse yourself by pulling something crazy and desperate. -One good way to improve is to mass game. -Cheesy strategies are risky, but can get you easy victories
