Creative han decidido saltarse el número 3, y ya han puesto a la venta la Sound Blaster Audigy 4, como discretamente han publicado en su página web. Las nuevas características de esta versión son pocas, sobre todo comparada con la Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro. El soporte para 7.1 canales es completo, lo cual si representa una mejora.
