Fue en el QuakeCon 2007 donde se anunció por primera vez que Quake Arena iba a llegar al XBLA. Ha sido un largo camino pero Bethesda ha anunciado oficialmente que Quake Arena Arcade, finalmente llegará a la plataforma Xbox Live Arcade el próximo miércoles, 15 de diciembre.

Lamentablemente, el juego aún no tiene precio, sin embargo, sin embargo se puede asumir que tiene que ser un precio reducido ante la oportunidad actual de jugarlo por medio de un browser en Quake Live por unos pocos dólares.
