Eso gente, Tengo ratillo teniendo este problema al instalar drivers ATI Estaba en la versión 11.4 y no me pase a 11.5 por lo que daba, hoy me apareció que instalara la 11.6 y el mismo problema por lo que ya pienso que o algo estoy haciendo mal o ati sux

Otra duda que tengo, no se si alguien sabrá, hay forma de saber cual es el tipo de tarjeta que tengo jajaja sin abrir el tarroCon Nvidia es bien fácil saber pero con esta no he encontrado este dato

llamate a Dell

1- Baje Gpu z  desde www.filehippo.com para conocer su vc sin abrir el tarrillo.
2- en agregar/remover programas desinstale TODO lo q tenga q ver con ATI, reinicie en modo seguro y corra DRIVER SWEEPER para borrar todo rastro del viejo driver, inicie de nuevo en modo normal y bajese el ultimo driver para su tarjeta y SO desde el sitio de ati:   http://support.amd.c...ages/index.aspx

Mmmm con le punto 1 sigue diciendo nada más 5800 family hahaha
Voy a tratar ese toque para los drivers a ver si se arregla eso ! en todas General xD

me parece mas error capa 8, solo hay q desinstalar los driver completamente como te sugieren arriba y listo. ese error es xq no los deinstalaste correctamente.




y tu tarjeta es una hd5870

Y como sabes el modelo ? xD con esa info Pa saber para la próxima.

solo la 5870 tiene esos clock y ese bandwidth

yo no creo q archobo se la pelara istalando mal un driver.. pero diay bretear en el ice dejas sus cosillas

yo he tenido 4 ati y solo una bronca tuve con una de ellas q se arreglo con el driver nuevo y era q el cursor del mouse se ponia verde

A mi una vez hace tiempos me daba esa bronca cuando estaba metido en ciertos juegos, el cursor se hacia enorme como de win95 jaja y tenia una sombra verde, cuando eso pasaba ya no podia salir del juego sin quedarme atascado en pantalla negra osea a resetear!!

Lol probé 2 versiones anteriores de ese software hace tiempo y nada de nada todo igual, por eso pedí opiniones en el foro xD.

Tengo ese problema desde hace unos 6 meses No me impide usar la pc pero me tiene picado.

Igual me encontre esto hace poco.


Rid yourself of troublesome Catalyst drivers

I've had this problem present itself itself on several different systems in recent months – I thought it was as a result of doing lots of driver upgrades/card swaps for various features, but it turns out to be pretty common. Especially with any of the drivers from the 11 series.<br style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><br style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Normally, best advice would be to uninstall drivers before upgrading them or changing a card, but that doesn't seem to make any difference here. The control panel may vanish, but getting rid of the drivers themselves is pretty tough.

In older versions of Windows, the cure would be to boot into Safe Mode and remove the drivers – except that Windows 7 doesn't allow you to run an installer package in Safe Mode any more. At least, not without hacking the registry – and there are instructions for how to do that here.

A quick Google of the problem shows that a lot of people have resorted to nuking Windows completely and reinstalling everything from scratch to get around this Catalyst installer problem.

There is, fortunately, a simpler solution which has worked every time I've run into it so far.

When you boot your PC, give it a couple of seconds to clear the POST part of its boot process and hit F8 to enter the Windows boot menu. You might need to tap F8 repeatedly to get it to register. Now choose the option for 'Enable low resolution video (640×480)'. Oddly, even though this still boots the video driver, it should now allow you to upgrade Catalyst suite problem free.

ATI ya me dejo una opinión muuuuuuuuuy baja comparándola con NVIDIA para ponerme a hacerle tanta matrafula, trabajo de lunes a viernes en un dep de TI cuando llego a mi casa quiero que todo sea lo más fácil posible

Suave la compu es una dell? Metase AQUI Mete su Service tag le tira la pagina donde estan los drivers desinstala el que tiene instala el de dell y problema resuelto. Dell hace hardware con custom IDs entonces los drivers de ATI no reconocen las tarjetas de video en alienware pasaba a cada rato que entraba un mae nuevo y bajaba los drivers de ATI y no le funcaban
